Due to fiscal contraints, MASPA will not be hosting the MERC 2009 event this year. We hope to continue in 2010 so please be sure to signup for updates (on the right side of this page) so that you may provide your contact information for us. We will contact you with information about MERC 2010 as it becomes available.
Although we will not be holding MERC 2009, we are certainly interested in your joining the Maryland Public Schools workforce. Please be sure to visit any of the websites of our 24 school systems (click on County Links and/or MERC). From the beautiful mountains in Garrett County to the shores of Worcester County and a little bit of Maryland pleasant living in between, we are sure that you will want to live and teach in Maryland!

The Maryland Education Recruitment Consortium (MERC) is a collaboration between the Maryland Association of School Personnel Administrators (MASPA) and the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). The primary goal of MERC is to provide prospective educators with the opportunity to discover working and living in the beautiful state of Maryland.
